In the A Journal About Me series, Nancy has created a set of journals that follow each decade of life. From My 20s, through My 30s, My 40s, My 50s, and My 60s, each book poses questions designed for that age. Not a conventional journal, each page allows the writer to answer each inquiry multiple times throughout the decade in order to capture updated thoughts. The result is a time capsule for each epic span. My Youth documents the overall journey from birth through the teenage years. Each chapter documents the everchanging world of youth. Questions cover each age and keeps memories from disappearing. If you didn’t keep a journal in your school age years, this will help fill that void. This book becomes a great hand me down to family members and a discussion starter for siblings and parents. All Journals available on Amazon

You will remember these as your “wild years” so keep that in mind if you get arrested, let your hair grow too long, have more than one automobile accident, throw up in anyone’s’ car, run out of money before your next paycheck, do anything on a dare, get fired, arrive home from a date as the sun rises, or call home for help and lie about why you need some money. You can be more responsible later.
You will remember these as the start of your grown-up years. There are adventures – some life defying and moderately dangerous. Your actions are slightly more responsible because the consequences are bigger. Group settings can create minor troubles since your filter may disappear in an effort to prove that youthful exuberance is still alive.
You are a full-fledged grown-up. There are still sneaky changes ahead. Bigger adventures are much more luxurious and safe. You have discontinued the behaviors that were holding you back and moved your life forward. Setting the right priorities will result in your ability to control life events more reliably. Goals are set to help move your hustle in the right direction. In life, the worst comes first, so do what you need to do. Don’t pursue anyone else’s goals.
Top of the feeding frenzy at last. Although there are lots of people under you, you wear the mantle of authority well. The bad habits that could be eliminated are gone. Your priorities and hustle have had good results.
This is the most responsible and fun time of life in many ways. The dew of youth has grown up and become the patina of age. You know so much and now have the time to share your knowledge with everyone else so that they can sidestep your mistakes.
This book is your journal, memory keeper, and a great way to reminisce about your sometimes-misspent youth. Read over the questions in each section to travel back to your formative years and remember the people, places and things you called your life. Youth is said to be wasted on the young, so look back to those carefree days once more to record how you spent your time. Your younger days went by in a flash. Your future self will thank you for leaving the elements of your younger life to prosperity.
