Nickels add up also
This may be the last lesson you ever need. I usually reserve it for multiple weeks into listening to someone describe their lives, how they need change, how they don’t know what they need to do it and so forth. Very normalized thoughts. I nod my head and absorb the language they use in an effort to try to show them that they can create whatever life they want but my words sound just like someone’s magic formula until they are integrated into the believer. I already believe in me and you. Done deal. No exceptions. But do you?
Let’s prove to you what you can do. Sit in a chair. Any chair. Now lift your ass off of that chair and stand up. Just stand there. Now sit down just like you stood up. Do it again. And again. You may be wondering why I am making you exercise in the middle of this serious discussion. Maybe I am. But the exercise is not to build your legs. It is to build your mind. How did you know how to raise yourself from the chair? You probably just did it. Based on past experience. How did you sit back down? Again, probably past performance. So, you can really make yourself do things. All by yourself. Now, get up and down again. What is different about these actions? Oh, now you realize that it was you all along knowing how to do stuff. You may not have needed me. Think about it.
You are Extraordinary!
Week 4: This week, you are choosing to know something profound about yourself.
This exercise seems like a trick. But it is proof positive that you are solely capable of making things happen all by yourself. I do not want you to abandon me though. I want to come along with you as we both teach ourselves how ordinarily extraordinary we both are. I moved this exercise up because it will remove the obstacles that create thoughts of disbelief. You really just needed you all along.
How do you feel now?
