Up in Arms

There are moments that require quick movements. The need to move suddenly doesn’t crop up every day so the face of surprise isn’t one of the practiced expressions. If the panic is caused by some unsafe movement, the speed is good. If the panic is due to some perceived issue, the reaction might not be as obvious. That may result in a clumsier method of handling it. Stuff happens. It helps to think of the amount of deliberation that goes into global decisions. Thoughtless decisions have a higher degree of failure. When the feeling of panic rises and it is possible to lower the temperature for just the slightest moment, it is possible to get a better outcome. Rethinking past experiences definitely helps new events. But the actual issue of the aspect of panic is its variability. The time it takes getting back to calm should be considered an essential part of the review. Check your heartbeat to see how the body is responding and the head might follow.

Hurry up and worry

Option #1: What makes you panic?

Option #2: Can you push someone else’s buttons?

Option #3: How long does it take to come back to earth?

That’s it. After you choose the option that best describes your panic routine, take a few minutes to describe why you chose that option and what action, if any, may come next.
