The needy are everywhere
There are humans who really like to help others. They seem to be doing for others endlessly. This drive to do for those seemingly in need provides some good return feeling. These super helpers also seem not to have their own issues. This can be a little short of believable. It can demonstrate a lack of interest in self-help also. When doing for someone else, it is easier not to think about the current self-crisis at hand. Humans need love and attention and sometimes the only way to get that recognition is to give it to others. This should not keep anyone from helping another, but it is best to know the why behind doing a good turn. If there has been a longer term of assisting others, the sweet human might get stuck in that role. At that point, it might feel like living in the high-level mode that can negatively affect the inner peace of those affected. Resolving personal demons prior to reaching out consistently to others will free up a lot of personal energy and make the help more impactful. Help comes to us when we admit we actually need it but not necessarily before. This model for others allows them to understand how to help themselves also. The rescuer becomes the person who enables others to become rescuers. And self-enabled humans are the best kind of helpers.
What does helping really mean?
Option #1: Do you think others are capable of helping themselves as well as you can?
Option #2: Can you change your method of helping to assist others in solving for themselves?
Option #3: What can you do to use your personal energy more carefully?
That’s it. After you choose the option that best describes what helping others means, take a few minutes to describe why you chose that option and what action, if any, may come next.
