Ordinary Echo

Repeat after me

Say it to Yourself

Edges make me slightly nervous. Same thing with the higher overlooks of buildings. But I am not afraid of heights. It is the rawness of the end of something that messes with my mind. But when you bravely take the time to observe the abyss, and then speak, you get an echo. Not necessarily the type that you hear from mountain climbers. More like a reverberation of thought. These are places of promises. Edges and ends are where we make oaths. Reaching deeply into our own abyss provides a chance to check on values, intentions and sincerity. The deeper places are more complex. The next step is fulfilling sacred choices. As outside views change due to the constancy of input, inside points of view are less affected. They can evolve with time and experience but seem to become more attuned to the true spirit. Challenges aid our personal growth and willpower. Writing etches thoughts into reality. Voices give them form. Recitation enchants them. Vows made with the sincerest of thought are the well-chosen markers of life. They boost our commitment and dedication. They don’t recede into emptiness because they are so real. They have an echo. When your inner world is transformed, cement gets sanctified.

What does your inner world sound like?

Option #1: Do you think others make vows to themselves?

Option #2: Can you change your power?

Option #3: What can you do to build strength of self?

That’s it. After you choose the option that best describes how you appreciate your vows, take a few minutes to describe why you chose that option and what action, if any, may come next.
