Ordinary Prayer

It’s Just a Discussion

Pray a Little Prayer for Me

April is going to seem a little woo woo. The hardest part of this month is getting over the thought that connects spirituality and our insides. We can’t peek inside and see all of our inner secrets. If you add to the fact that secrets are usually things that we want to hide, there is a reluctance to check them out. But once the door opens, the scary bats have a chance to fly out and let the wise owls turn their heads. All those words that you hear coming out of your mouth automatically are your offerings to the source. Staying in contact is essential. Even when you have nothing to report. Especially when you have nothing to report.

Your Imagination is a Prayer

All of those creative ideas you have along the way come to you by means of your inner dialogue. Those thoughts are influenced by way of everything you expose yourself to. Social trends, magazines, and marketing start the parade of desires. When you can look behind them and notice what is lingering at the end of the parade, you might see glimpses of what crept in on its own. More like your true desires. Your imagination is just yours. Even when it seems to be the opposite of what is going on all around you. Don’t discount that bit of magic.

What is Prayer Anyway

You may find many answers to this question. Whenever there are multiple ways to respond, there appears to be no one true right way. That definitely makes it easier to understand that whatever form my dialogue takes, it suits me. That also gives everyone else the chance to have their own right method. There are many aspects of life that humans will never agree to, but prayer doesn’t have to be one. Try it out. Pray for a minute. Where did your natural instinct take you?

Other Prayers

Imploring anyone in any form is a prayer. You probably were associating it with a religion, worship or a defined method of requesting a higher form of assistance. And all this time, it was just a way of interacting with the world. Understanding prayer is just another hidden aspect of this thing called human life. It isn’t so complicated when you break it down. The mere fact that you can humanize prayer as an everyday activity and not only a part of organized religion or a giant room of pews helps make it more accessible. Today, add a prayer to closing your eyes, hand on your heart, breathing moments. Your life is really connecting.

Pray for me. Pray today by asking for something in the form of a request. Look out for those thoughts that include anything out of the ordinary. Create a prayer of those thoughts by watching out deliberately for them.
