Ordinary Space

Don’t stand still

Draw the floorplan

Environments really affect what is going on. Adult humans don’t sleep in bedrooms in cribs. Kitchens have the right appliances for food preparation. What happens in a space can be determined by its design. If you can look around you 360 degrees right now, can you describe how your current space is leaning on your feelings? Deciding what you want to occur can still happen, but your brain might not think it is in the right place at the right time for the best outcome. Remote workers experienced the reality of space when it became necessary to move their work life to their home life. Ouch. There was some discomfort. But the longer a remote worker remains at home, the better they feel about not returning to the previous worksite. It is difficult to know if rows of desks and offices were really the best space. To design a space for the ultimate outcome, it might be best to give it some new thought. Designing your space for you is the goal.

Option #1: What is your favorite space?

Option #2: How can you live in your own space?

Option #3: Why do we live in boxes?

That’s it. After you choose the option that best describes your space, take a few minutes to describe why you chose that option and what action, if any, may come next.
